The mood around here has turned for worse as we remember one of our own staff members who just passed away. Suffering from advanced stages of cancer, she was not very old, perhaps late 50s, which makes it weirder and harder to swallow. She has two daughters and grandchildren.
I personally did not ever have the chance to get to know her well, but her 8 years at “Samal” meant that she had made many close relationships here and as a result, we all mourn. May you find peace on the other side.
